CERAMIC SHAPING CLASS USING THE ELECTRIC ROTATOR

The ceramic turning course includes 2 courses, basic and advanced

This is a course focusing on the main knowledge for students who love the art of ceramic shaping and want to equip themselves with a solid basic knowledge of ceramic shaping using a wheel.

BASIC SHAPING CURRICULUM CLASS

This course focuses on the main knowledge for students who love the art of ceramic shaping and want to equip themselves with solid basic knowledge of ceramic shaping using a turntable. After the course, students will master the basic knowledge of ceramic shaping as well as the process to create a complete product, creating straight tube products themselves with the most standard technique. In addition, you can continue to practice or improve your ceramic shaping skills as well as the ability to think creatively about products according to your preferences.

Course content:

1. Clay stuffing technique

2. Rotating clay center technique

3. Straight clay pulling technique

4. Clay center technique for cold scraping the product

5. Cutting, cold scraping, and smoothing techniques

6. Clay reuse technique

7. Decoration technique

  •  Painting before firing

* Study time: 10 sessions - 5 hours/session (+ 3 free hours per day for practice)

* The course includes all firing and glazing fees.

* Flexible schedule, convenient for students to book seats.

* Students are required to complete a 10-session course in 3 months

ADVANCED SHAPE-CREATION ROTARY CLASS

Technical perfection will make product shaping skills more skillful by practicing using the turntable many times and creating products with high complexity

During the course, you will practice a variety of product shapes and sizes to perfect shaping skills on the turntable.

Students can learn advanced knowledge and skills that are required to achieve a higher level. In addition, you can continue to practice or improve your ceramic shaping skills as well as your ability to think creatively about products of your choice.

Class content:

1. Practice shaping at least 2 or more designs of the same size.

2. Techniques for creating different vase shapes. You will create at least 3 vase shapes.

3. Shape a large bowl or plate with a diameter of about 20-25 cm.

4. Shape at least 2 sets of coffee cups with handles and saucers

5. Shape a tea set with saucers.

6. Relief techniques

7. Inlay and inlay techniques (parasols)

8. Glazing techniques

Including 3 techniques: Dipping, Pouring, Pouring and Glaze Trailing.

9. Kiln and product firing techniques.

* Course duration: 12 sessions - 5 hours/session. (+ 3 free hours per day for practice)

* The course includes all firing and glazing fees.

* Flexible schedule, convenient for students to book seats.

* Students are required to complete the 12-session course within 3 months.
